Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva is one of the most-anticipated Hindi movies in the works starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The movie’s makers have now released the Telugu version of the song Kesariya, titled Kunkumala.
The song teaser for the movie is released by S.S. Rajamouli, who is a household name across India today. The filmmaker has released the song through his social media handles. “Here’s #Kumkumala song promo from #Brahmastra: Part One. Excited to be presenting in Telugu. See you in cinemas on September 9th!” he wrote on Instagram, sharing the teaser.
The Telugu version of the song is written by Chandrabose while Sid Sriram has sung the number. The song teaser’s visuals are slightly different from the Hindi version that was released during the time of the star couples’ wedding. The song sounds beautiful in the Telugu version as well, with Sriram’s voice lending a certain magic.
Rajamouli is presenting the magnum opus in all the four South Indian languages the movie will release in.
Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva is touted to be the costliest Indian movie and is a fantasy epic directed by Ayan Mukerji (Wake Up Sid, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani). While the star couple take the lead in the movie, it also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Akkineni Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy in key roles.
Mukerji had earlier told Deadline that the movie is about a hero who has to step up when a divine weapon of mass destruction threatens to end the world.
The highly-anticipated fantasy adventure is backed by Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures, will hit theatres on September 9, 2022. The movie will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
