Popular sports broadcaster Gaurav Kapur will soon be back with his hit web series Breakfast with Champions. Having featured the biggest names of Indian and international sports over seven exciting seasons, the show is back with its eighth iteration, promising to bring many more popular stars from the sporting world on board.

The team of Breakfast with Champions released a promo video for the upcoming season which also served as a fun recap of some of the best moments of the previous seasons. Host Gaurav would also pose an intriguing question in the promo about what to expect from season 8 and whether some of the previous guests such as Virat Kohli, Ashish Nehra or Yuvraj Singh would return to grace the show. Although he refrained from specifying the guests for the upcoming season, Gaurav Kapur does promise to feature a whole new panel from the sporting world. The new season will premiere on YouTube on April 27, 2023.

Of course, fans have already begun suggesting guests for the upcoming season and as expected, the name Mahendra Singh Dhoni has cropped up more than a few times. The former India captain and Chennai Super Kings legend is yet to come on the show and his many million ardent fans are keenly looking forward to seeing his 'off the field' personality unravel.

In the same vein, one would hope to see the newest breed of Indian and international cricket feature in the upcoming season, along with the fan favourites Ashish Nehra, Virender Sehwag, Ravi Shastri and the likes!

Although Breakfast with Champions has primarily focused on cricket so far, other renowned athletes such as Leander Paes, Abhinav Bindra and Geeta Phogat, too, have been part of it. Stalwarts of the Indian women's cricket world, such as Harmanpreet Kaur and Jhulan Goswami, too, have come on the show to present their more 'natural' selves over some food and drink.
