Abhishek Bachchan seems to have started shooting for Breathe 3

Fans of the show can now breathe a sigh of relief. The crime thriller series is most likely gearing up for a new season. Actor Abhishek Bachchan posted on social media subtle announcing season 3 for the series. But later, deleted the post.

The actor seems to be reprising the role of Dr. Avinash Sabharwal who suffers from multiple personality disorder and kidnaps his own daughter. He does not demand a ransom to release her but murders of those who have wronged him. Season 2 ended with Abhishek's character recovering at a mental health institution.

Bachchan post's showing the mask gives an idea that the new season will continue the story of season 2 titled Breathe: Into the Shadows. There have, however, been no official announcements on the same and other cast members. Breathe 2 featured Amit Sadh and Nithya Menen in lead roles too.

Breathe is a crime drama series, created and directed by Mayank Sharma for Amazon Prime Video. Season 1 had R Madhavan and Amit Sadh in lead roles and was about organ donation. The series became an instant hit and created awareness on the issue of organ donation. It also gained Sadh immense popularity for playing a drunk cop, dealing with a divorce after the death of his daughter.

Meanwhile, watch out for this space for more updates on Breathe 3.
