Brewing Love ending explained: Are Kim Se-jeong's Young-ju and Lee Jeong-won's Min-ju together forever?

Brewing Love has come to an end, and beautiful memories are made. Kim Se-jeong and Lee Jeong-won, who played the lead roles of Young-ju and Min-ju, respectively, had a beautiful love story to share. Young-ju and Min-ju might not be officially married yet, but have a baby before their wedding (not the human kind)

The makers of Brewing Love stayed true to the title. The story was about brewmaster Min-ju (Jeong-won) meeting another expert in the field, Young-ji (Se-jeong). They came together so they could work on a project - their own beer brand. Although they had a team backing them (some of them eventually), Young-ju and Min-ju really introduced the beer brand Together, together. That brand is their baby together, one they raised after so many difficulties. But a wedding? Not quite there yet.

Young-ju's retirement plan explained

All her life, Young-ju has worked towards setting an example for others. Right from her enlisting in the military to tirelessly working to bring back her Busan branch, Young-ju did it all. Except, she never really focused on learning who she really is. Thus, after a conversation with her mentor, Young-ju decided it was the right time to focus on her personal life too. It all works out because her lover Min-ju is already a master brewer who is famous and loved in his village for his brand. Young-ju has already worked with him, and she is likely to do so again, but for now, she's on her much-needed break and so happy that she has thrown a retirement party for the villagers.

Not Young-ju and Min-ju yet, but Chan-hwi and Ah-reum are heading to a marriage

The very last scene of Brewing Love confirmed that while the first leads are taking their own sweet time, the second leads are ready to take the plunge! Chan-hwi proposed to Ah-reum after pursuing her parents with his famous 'toast' and while Young-ju was figuring life out, they broke the news of their wedding. Now, the team is working on their wedding invitation cards.

So, can there be Brewing Love season 2?

Since Young-ju and Min-ju are not even married yet, and technically, even Chan-hwi and Ah-reum are not at the altar, Brewing Love has a lot of possibilities for season 2. For now though, it's a beautiful goodbye, with hopes that they meet us again some day.
