Bridgerton season 3’s second part is out on Netflix and as expected, has been trending all over the internet. After completing the series, there are many theories about whose character will be explored next. Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington’s story has come to an end, and now it’s time to move on to the next possible couple. There are major hints that Bridgerton season 4 will show us Benedict’s love story. There’s a major spill from the starcast that suggests so.
Colin spills the beans
Luke Newton, who plays the lead role of Colin this season, spilled the beans on the next couple. During his interview with L’Beaute Homme, Luke said that he loves Benedict’s storyline. He further added, “He is a free spirit and kind of a rebel. I can’t wait to see Benedict’s story next season.” Oops, we guess Lady Whistledown’s lover spilled the tea on what is coming for us in Bridgerton season 4.
About Benedict’s love story
Luke Thompson plays the role of Benedict Bridgerton in the series. He will be marrying Sophie Beckett (not yet introduced to the show) and have four children with her. Benedict is closest to brothers Anthony, Colin, and sister Eloise, despite them being seven in the Bridgerton family. In the books, Benedict and Sophie’s story was explored third. However, the makers skipped to Colin and Penelope’s story for this season.
What about Eloise?
There was another speculation, that Eloise (Claudia Jessie)’s story might be explored soon. She will fall in love with Sir Philip Crane (also not yet introduced), whose wife Marina Thompson (Ruby Barker) is no more. However, it looks like Eloise will have to wait her turn, and be a part of season 5, if the makers choose to go in that direction.
When will Bridgerton 4 release?
Jess Brownell told The Hollywood Reporter that Bridgerton 4 will take another two years to shoot. So, one can expect the fourth season to be out not before 2026. PS: There was a two-year gap between seasons 1-2, as well as 2-3. Only because the third season released in two parts, was it out within six months.
