There’s an innate honesty and forthrightness one notices in Pawan Kalyan whenever he takes to the stage and holds the mic. He doesn’t merely try to please the attendees or crowds and truly makes an effort to express his opinion, whether it’s politically correct or not. On Tuesday at Shilpakala Vedika for Bro’s pre-release event, he was at his candid best, discussing a wide range of aspects.
He expressed his happiness to be part of a project that involved his good writer-director friend Trivikram. Pawan Kalyan shared Bro was special to him because of the latter. The star reminded how he was a nuclear physics topper who left everything for his love for cinema. “We always discuss literature. He is a Hindi and Sanskrit scholar too. I’m truly proud to have a friend like him.”
Pawan Kalyan mentioned he treated Trivikram like a guru and told crowds how the latter taught him about epics, Gurram Jashuva, Viswanatha Satyanarayana. He said Trivikram’s contribution in getting this generation to appreciate the beauty of Telugu can’t be ignored. The star insisted youngsters too need to take the plunge and push the industry forward with their inspiration.
“I hope a new generation of writers are inspired by people like Trivikram and SS Rajamouli who’re taking our industry forward,” he stated and spoke of happiness for RRR’s global recognition. “It’s important to sustain this momentum. I wish the best for Mahesh Babu’s film with Rajamouli.” Pawan Kalyan said he was appreciative of actors because they ensure meals, livelihood to 200-300 families with every project. “The don’t steal but work hard,” he stated.
Pawan Kalyan, Sai Dharam Tej starrer Bro, written and directed by Samuthirakani, has dialogues and screenplay by Trivikram. The film, produced by People Media Factory and Zee Studios, releases worldwide on July 28.
