Leading Telugu production house People Media Factory is teaming up with ZEE Studios for Bro, the Telugu remake of Vinodhaya Sitham, starring Pawan Kalyan, Sai Dharam Tej. Samuthirakani is the writer-director of the film which has dialogues and screenplay by Trivikram. Bro is releasing worldwide on July 28. After the teaser, two songs, the makers launched the trailer today.
Sai Dharam Tej, Ketika Sharma, Samuthirakani, S Thaman and TG Vishwa Prasad unveiled the trailer in the presence of fans in Vizag and Hyderabad this evening. The trailer starts with Sai Dharam Tej quite occupied with work and love, proclaiming that he doesn’t have time for anything in life. However, a road mishap upsets all equations, where he meets God, who represents time.
Pawan Kalyan appears in a wide variety of getups in the trailer - as a security guard, coolie, as a matured middle aged man and an enthusiastic party freak. Sai Dharam Tej is confused and disturbed in his presence. There are verbal banters between the two about life, death and time and the film is packed with humour, larger than life action and intense emotions.
It’s quite rare that filmmakers have explored this side to Pawan Kalyan since his Attarintiki Daaredi days. The icing on the cake is the reimagination of Brahmanandam’s iconic music show dialogue in King, Pawan Kalyan’s Jalsa step and the dance sequences. Besides catering to the masses, the makers have taken enough care to not tinker with the film’s soul.
Trivikram’s catchy dialogue, Thaman’s impressive background score make a mark. Priya Prakash Varrier, Samuthirakani, Rohini, Rajeswari Nair, Raja, Tanikella Bharani, Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju, Prudhvi Raj, Narra Srinu, Yuva Lakshmi, Devika, Ali Reza and Surya Srinivas form the supporting cast of the film. The entertainer will be out on Netflix after its theatrical release.
