Pawan Kalyan, Sai Dharam Tej are coming together for Bro, a fantasy comedy, directed by Samuthirakani which has screenplay and dialogues by Trivikram. People Media Factory and Zee Studios are producing the film, a remake of the Tamil direct-to-OTT release Vinodhaya Sitham on ZEE5. After wrapping the shoot, post-production, Bro releases in theatres next Friday on July 28.

The trailer was launched amidst fanfare in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam in the presence of its cast, crew today. The glimpse is everything what the fans of Pawan Kalyan, Sai Dharam Tej expected from the film. It has something for everyone - a liberal dose of comedy, intense emotions, action besides romance, catchy music, all bound by a solid plot. Here’s what netizens said..

Naturally, film buffs are quite pleased with the trailer for its references to Tammudu, Jalsa, King and one gets to see Pawan Kalyan in an impressive number of avatars. It looks like he’s totally having a blast sans pretension and is aptly complemented by the timing of an equally impressive Sai Dharam Tej. No wonder, fans predict a bumper opening for the film worldwide.

The presence of Brahmanandam gave a good reason for fans to be happy about. Thaman, whose songs elicited mixed responses from public, did his part with the background score and the sharp writing is another reminder of Trivikram’s brilliance. Ketika Sharma plays Sai Dharam Tej’s romantic interest while Rohini, Subbaraju, Raja Chembolu, Priya Prakash Varrier, Narra Srinu essay key roles too.

Sujith Vaasudev is the cinematographer and Navin Nooli is the editor. Samuthirakani will also be seen in a brief role in Bro, where he returns as a director in Telugu nearly 8 years after Jendapai Kapiraju.
