Bromance is the latest Malayalam film to be acquired by Sony Liv. Asif Ali's Rekhachithram, Basil Joseph's Pravinkoodu Shappu and Unni Mukundan-led Marco are available to stream on Sony Liv and OTTplay Premium.
On Valentine's Day, Bromance clashed with Sajin Gopu and Anaswara Rajan’s Painkili and Antony Varghese’s Daveed. Both Daveed and Painkili are already available on streaming platforms.
Written and directed by Arun D Jose, Bromance follows Binto as he goes in search of his brother Shinto, who is reported to be missing by his friend. Even as they search for him, more people, including his ex-girlfriend, an ethical hacker and a local thug, join them.
Mathew Thomas plays the angry Gen Z lad Binto, while Shyam Mohan of Premalu fame is Shinto. Arjun Ashokan plays Shinto's friend, and Mahima Nambiar is Shinto's ex-girlfriend. Kalabhavan Shajohn and Binu Pappu also join the young actors in this fun ride.
When it was released in theatres, the film was lauded for its comedy but drew flak for its weak plot. The wedding song, a foot-tapping number, also became popular. Among the cast,
Sangeeth Prathap especially left a mark with his dialogues and comedy timing. The film promises laughter and some moments of friendship.
