Bromance, the upcoming Malayalam film directed by Arun D Jose, has been nearing the final stages of its production. The film, which features Arjun Ashokan, Mathew Thomas, Sangeeth Prathap, and Mahima Nambiar in the lead roles, is touted to be a comedy drama which revolves around the lives of a group of young men, and their friendship. After a long wait, the makers of Bromance finally announced the release date of the film, with a social media post, recently.
The cast and crew members of Bromance recently took to their official social media handles and announced the release date of the much-awaited film, with a special poster. Bromance has been slated to hit the big screens on February 14, 2025, as a Valentine’s Day special release. In the new poster of the film, the friends are seen celebrating the wedding of a young couple, as a honeybee is seen watching them, in the foreground.
Arjun Ashokan and Mahima Nambiar are set to play the young couple in the film, while Mathew Thomas, Sangeeth Prathap, Shyam Mohan, Kalabhavan Shahjohn, and Ambareesh PS play the couple’s friends. “Brocode Rule #1: Never let each other do stupid things… alone. Presenting the first look poster of BROMANCE, directed by ADJ and produced by Ashiq Usman,” wrote actor Sangeeth Prathap, who shared the release date announcement poster, on his social media handles.
As you may know, the shooting of Bromance was put on hold in July 2024, after the lead actors, Arjun Ashokan, Sangeeth Prathap, and Mathew Thomas met with a road accident, while shooting for the film. Reportedly, the car which was driven by the stunt master of the film, toppled over leaving the actors and others with minor injuries. However, the actors were advised to take bed rest for a few weeks after the accident, which caused a delay in the film’s shoot and release.
