The trailer of Brother, the upcoming Tamil film starring actor Jayam Ravi in the lead role, was released by the makers on social media ahead of the film's release for Diwali. Written and directed by filmmaker Rajesh, the film will hit theatres on October 31.

The makers of Brother released the trailer for the film, which is tipped to be a fun-filled commercial entertainer. The film will be released on October 31.

The trailer begins with the audience getting to know that Jayam Ravi is a troublesome young man who has not yet completed his law college degree and is loafing around, much to his family's anger. We are also introduced to Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead, and there is a mandatory song and dance. Meanwhile, we see Jayam Ravi coming to live with his sister played by Bhumika Chawla. The trailer is filled with various emotions, with stress on the sibling bond.

The film is helmed by filmmaker Rajesh M in his maiden collaboration with the actor. Besides Jayam Ravi, the film also features actors Priyanka Arul Mohan, Bhumika Chawla, VTV Ganesh, Natraj Subramanian, Rao Ramesh, Achyuth Kumar, Saranya Ponvannan, Seetha, Sathish Krishnan, MS Bhaskar, Suresh Chakravarthy, Vriddhi Visha, and Master Ashwin in prominent roles.

The post-theatrical streaming rights of Brother have been bagged by ZEE5. The film will be available on the platform along with the OTTplay Premium app, once Brother completes the theatrical run.

The film is produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd, with Harris Jayaraj scoring the music for the film. The makers recently announced that the dubbing for the film has been completed and the post-production phase is in full swing. It is shot by cinematographer Vivekanand Santhosam and edited by Ashish Joseph.

Brother will be releasing for the festive season of Diwali, along with the Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Amaran and Kavin’s dark comedy-drama Bloody Beggar.
