The wait is nearly over as BTS is marking their 2026 comeback with the 5th album Arirang and a massive world tour starting April 9, signalling a return to their Korean roots after military service. Titled after a Korean song, the 14-track album is a symbol of deep love, longing, and cultural pride, representing the maturity of their sound to encompass themes of separation and reunion. Ahead of their March 20 comeback, Netflix announced a BTS documentary and also shared that they will livestream their comeback performance.

BTS: The Return, a BTS documentary film showcasing the making of their newest comeback album, will be released on Netflix on March 27, 2026.

BTS members completed their mandatory military service and after years apart, they are all set to return together. This feature-length documentary follows RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook as they reunite to create music once more, marking a comeback set to resonate across pop culture. 

Directed by Bao Nguyen and produced by This Machine and HYBE, this film provides intimate access to a group rediscovering their shared creative voice. From their early beginnings in 2013 to global superstardom, BTS reflects on their life-changing journey and the silent questions that come with starting anew. Through laughter, doubt, and renewal, BTS: The Return captures a story of brotherhood, resilience, and reinvention.
