As a way to ease back into the entertainment industry after serving his country, Jin of BTS will make a guest appearance on the upcoming variety show Dae Hwan Jang Kian Jang (working title) on Netflix. Kian84, the oldest member of the K-pop group, will maintain a guest home on the beautiful island of Ulleungdo. The OTT behemoth has confirmed another guest appearance and revealed its release window.
Xsport News reports that BTS member Jin will be appearing as a special guest on Kian's Bizarre B&B, a new variety show. Premiering in 2025, the show will feature Kian84, a webtoon writer and broadcaster, and Jeong Hyo Min, a producer.
Kian84—real name Kim Hee Min—is most famous for making cameo appearances on the popular variety shows I Live Alone and Around the World While I Was Born, as well as creating the iconic webtoon Fashion King. Ever since Jin joined the show, fans have grown more excited. Since his release from the military in June, Jin has been involved in numerous activities.
Ji Ye Eun, who shot to fame on Coupang Play's SNL Korea, will soon be a part of the cast. Her many famous appearances on series like Running Man, Knowing Bros., and King of Masked Singer have accustomed her to the limelight. The streaming firm recently announced her participation in the project.
The Netflix variety program will feature appearances by Jin of BTS and Ji Ye Eun, the female actor. As a precaution, the makers are unable to announce the exact filming dates. Netflix stated that they hoped viewers would understand, according to Koreaboo.
The outing with Netflix isn't Jin's first foray into television, either. MBC recently released a trailer for Jin's upcoming show, If You Rest, It's a Relief (Fookda Haeng), promising an exciting island journey. The preview depicts Jin and his B1A4 friend Sandeul successfully completing a challenging island survival mission. On August 19, the show will make its global premiere. In addition to that, he has his own entertainment show, Run Jin, which is a spin-off of BTS Run.
