BTS' V teases yet another collaboration: Kim Taehyung to make appearance in IU's upcoming music video

As news about the impending military enlistment of the remaining BTS members surfaced, a fresh wave of excitement swept over ARMY and fans of South Korean soloist IU due to reports of an upcoming collaboration between BTS' V and Lee Ji Eun. 

Kim Taehyung is set to make an appearance in IU's music video for her forthcoming album, set to be released in the first half of 2024. Seizing the opportunity before V's military enlistment, IU promptly filmed the video, with confirmation from IU's agency, EDAM Entertainment, that the filming had been completed.

Recent interactions between V and IU on her YouTube show Palette, where V promoted his solo album Layover, showcased their charming friendship, delighting fans. The news has ignited a frenzy on social media platforms, particularly X (formerly known as Twitter), with both ARMY and uaenas expressing their anticipation. 

Meanwhile, IU, who released her album Lilac in 2021, followed up with the concert The Golden Hour: Under the Orange Sun in 2022, and continues to be active in both film and television, currently filming for the drama series 'Thank You for Your Hard Work' alongside Park Bo-gum.

Rumours are also circulating about Taehyung's collaboration with American singer-songwriter Umi. Notably, V has shown recent interest in Umi, sharing her music on his Instagram and reposting her covers of his original songs. Adding to the excitement, Umi posted on Instagram with the intriguing caption, "Loading."
