Bunty Aur Babli 2: New title track takes Siddhant Chaturvedi down memory lane

News of bringing back the hit movie Bunty Aur Babli as a sequel stirred up some memories in us where we were transported back to 2005 when the movie was released. One of the things which pops in our mind is the title track of “Bunty Aur Babli” as it brings out the vibe of the comedy flick. Similarly, for the new-age Bunty, played by Siddhant Chaturvedi, certain memories were also stirred up in him on hearing the rehashed title track for Bunty Aur Babli 2.

According to a Mid Day report, Siddhant Chaturvedi is washed with memories from when he was watching Bunty Aur Babli along with his family. “It evokes so many memories of watching the film with my family,” said the Gully Boy actor.

Talking about the revamped title track of Bunty Aur Babli, Siddharth Madhavan and the popular Punjabi rapper Bohemia have taken up the reins to work on the song. Lyrics have been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Earlier, Rani Mukherjee conveyed her excitement on it by saying that the title track is a soul to the first movie. She also mentioned how YRF Studios were thinking of incorporating the song into the sequel since the moment they decided to reboot the franchise. Saif Ali Khan also agreed to it by stating that the title track blends perfectly into the movie and represents the infamous duo, Bunty and Babli as con couples who love living on the edge.

Starring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Sharvari Wagh, Pankaj Tripathi and Yashpal Sharma among others in crucial roles, the upcoming con-comedy outing Bunty Aur Babli 2 is written and helmed by Varun V Sharma and backed by Aditya Chopra of YRF Films. The movie is expected to have its theatrical release on November 19.
