Ahead of its release, many believed or rather assumed Sapta Sagaradaache Ello to be a film that would largely cater to urban audiences. Of course, the presence of someone like Hemanth M. Rao in the mix, who has previously made two sensible and considerably less 'massy' films, so to speak, might have governed this presumption.
However, both Hemanth and Rakshit have asserted on multiple occasions that their latest endeavour isn't just a 'class' film because both its subject matter and treatment are rendered for audiences from all walks of life.
And it turns out the two have been right all along in their assessment as Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side A manages to transcend the demographic divide in its theatrical run. While it is true that the film is thriving mainly in urban centres in Karnataka such as Bengaluru, Mysuru and Mangaluru, it is slowly emerging in the same vein that it has found footing in other key areas of the state as well.
Rakshit Shetty & Co. to go on a publicity tour
Over the last couple of days, the main trio of Sapta Sagaradaache Ello - Hemanth M Rao, Rakshit Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth - have been visiting theatres across Bengaluru to personally interact with their audiences. These gestures have certainly helped the makers promote the film in an organic way and to take things up a notch, we now hear that the team plans on stepping beyond Karnataka to spread the word.
Rakshit Shetty, who is also the producer of Sapta Sagaradaache Ello under his home banner of Paramvah Studios, very recently responded to a social media user, who said that the team must also meet the audiences in North Karnataka to promote the film. The actor revealed in his comment that starting this Tuesday, September 5, he and the rest of the core team will tour Karnataka to personally meet and interact with fans.
