Butta Bomma on Netflix: The Telugu remake of Kappela is winning hearts on OTT

Butta Bomma was one of the most popular songs from Allu Arjun's film Ala Vaikunthapuramlo. The makers of the film, Sithara Entertainments, registered the title of their film on the song's name and introduced Anikha Surendran as the main lead. The film is the remake of the Malayalam hit Kappela and was made in Telugu with Arjun Das.

Well, the film did not find an audience at the theaters and was out in no time. Well, the film is now streaming on Netflix for the last few days and is getting a wide reception from the viewers. The village drama has already clocked millions of minutes and has stood second in India on Netflix. This shows how much the OTT audience is waiting for the film to watch.

The solid reception to films like Butta Bomma also gives an idea that the family audience is not interested to watch such films with not many popular faces on the big screen but are eager to catch them up when they get released on the OTT platform. Butta Bomma is one such film that is getting the same reception from the OTT audience.

Directed by Shouree Chandrasekhar, Butta Bomma had Arjun Das, the Tamil actor making his Telugu debut. His role was appreciated a lot and he is a good prospect when it comes to Telugu cinema offers. Naga Vamsi and Trivikram produced this film which had music by Gopi Sundar. The dull narration and lack of thrills disappointed the film on the big screen but the small screen audience lapped it up.
