Diljit Dosanjh's Sardaar Ji 3 has released overseas and the movie is performing well in Pakistan. In fact, the film has managed to beat the record set by Salman Khan's Sultan there. This is touted to be owing to Hania Aamir's presence in the movie.
Sardaar Ji 3 earned Rs. 3 crore at the Box Office on day 1 of its release. This was the biggest opening number for an Indian film. In fact, the movie beat the Box Office record set by Salman Khan's Sultan back in 2016. Reportedly, Sardaar Ji is going houseful in Pakistan. Diljit confirmed the overwhelming response through his Instagram stories. He also highlighted how the movie earned Rs. 11.03 crore within two days of its release.

Diljit Dosanjh-Neeru Bajwa's Sardaar Ji 3 was shot with Pakistani artist Hania Aamir. The movie release came after Pahalgham attacks, owing to which there was a ban on Pakistani artists in India. Thus, Diljit decided to release the film overseas instead.
Sardaar Ji 3 got into a controversy the minute that Hania Aamir's presence in the movie got confirmed. This happened when the trailer of the film was released. Film bodies opposed the movie's release and have demanded a ban on Diljit's future films, starting with Border 2. While the actors have confirmed that Diljit is still a part of the movie, there is no certain confirmation. While talking to BBC Asian Network, Diljit confirmed that everything was alright when Sardaar Ji 3 was shot (in February), but given the situation, the producers decided to release the film overseas. The actor said that he would support the makers if they decide to release the film overseas and thus, Sardaar Ji 3 is now out in theatres outside of India.
