Karan Kundrra, who is back in the limelight since his Bigg Boss 15 stint, has now been linked to a new project. He is likely to be a part of the Indian version of Vampire Diaries. Titled Bhediya, it appears that Karan has bagged the lead role on this show.

Karan Kundrra might have landed the lead role in the Indian version of Vampire Diaries. Bhediya is backed by Beyond Dreams.

A report on TellyChakkar suggests that Karan has been roped in for the project. There are no further details on the lead actress or second male in the project.

Interestingly, Bhediya is also the title of an upcoming Bollywood film featuring Varun Dhawan. The horror-comedy is Dinesh Vijan’s third after Stree and Roohi. Reportedly, Varun turns a warewolf (bhediya) in the film.

Whether Karan will also play the warewolf or the vampire, remains to be seen. This will also be the first time that he dives into such a role.

Before Karan, Vivian D’Sena had played a supernatural character on TV. He was seen in the role of a vampire on the TV show, Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahani. The role became a high point of the actor’s career.

Karan has become a fan favourite once again after he made friends and build a new relationship on Bigg Boss 15. Karan met his current girlfriend Tejasswi Prakash on Salman Khan’s show. His bromance with Umar Riaz too has made headlines often.

Post Bigg Boss 15, Karan was in news for being a jailor on Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp. He was last seen hosting Dance Deewane Junior.
