After RRR, Rajamouli has committed a film with Mahesh Babu set amidst a jungle safari backdrop

Director SS Rajamouli is the man of the moment and the cynosure of all eyes across the globe. He is busy promoting RRR as part of the last leg of the promotional campaign in various parts of the country. Given that this is the director's next film after the globally popular action franchise, Baahubali, there's a lot that team RRR needs to do live upto expectations of viewers. After wrapping up the promotions for RRR too, SS Rajamouli has his hands full.
It's well known that SS Rajamouli will be collaborating next with actor Mahesh Babu for a jungle safari saga set in Africa. The director's father KV Vijayendra Prasad has already commenced work on the script. Alia Bhatt is in talks already to play the female lead in the film to be bankrolled by K L Narayana under Durga Arts. Mahesh Babu will start work on the film once he wraps up the shoot for his next with Trivikram, where he is paired alongside Pooja Hegde.
Now, it's rumoured that Rajamouli has finalised his next project after his film with Mahesh Babu as well. It'll be Pushpa star Allu Arjun, who'll be playing the lead role in the film. Rajamouli has always had high words of praise for Allu Arjun as a performer and it'll be interesting what he has written for the star. The Pushpa actor is also in talks with Atlee for a multilingual and has committed a project with Koratala Siva long ago. Yet, sources confirm that the film may go on floors as early as in 2023.
Allu Arjun hasn't officially confirmed any of his projects after Pushpa The Rule yet. It'll take a while before we hear from either Arjun or SS Rajamouli about this!
