Salman Khan’s upcoming film, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, has gone through quite a number of changes ever since it was announced. Now it seems that the film might also be getting a new title.
According to a report in ETimes, the makers are planning to change the film’s title from Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali to Bhaijaan. It was also reported that the latter had been the film’s original title initially.
Sajid Nadiadwala had been initially attached as the producer of the film. But the filmmaker had exited the project and Khan had taken over the role of producer, bankrolling the film under his Salman Khan Films banner. Aayush Sharma and Zaheer Iqbal had also been a part of the project but had reportedly walked out of the movie, with the former citing ‘creative differences’ as the reason for his exit.
Khan had unveiled a glimpse of his look from the film last month, marking the commencement of filming. The actor is seen sporting long hair and sunglasses in the picture.
The upcoming film will see Pooja Hegde essay the role of the female lead opposite Khan. Hegde had also shared a post on her social media handles to commemorate the start of filming.
In addition to Khan and Hegde, the film will also star Venkatesh in a pivotal role. Shehnaaz Gill of Bigg Boss fame is expected to make her Bollywood debut with the project.
Khan is reportedly shooting for the film in Hyderabad at the moment, on heels of reports that he and his father had received death threats. ETimes reports that the actor will complete a 25 day schedule of the film before moving on to start work on Tiger 3.
