Comedian Munaqar Faruqui who recently delved into the reality show world with Lock Upp, will probably next be seen in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 12.
Not just him, it is reported that actress Chetna Pande, popularly seen in MTV Fanaah and Ace of Space, will also join him. Times of India writes that she was unavailable for a comment.
The report further states that other contestants in the line-up for Khatron Ke Khiladi, which is about testing the tolerance for extremes, will have recognisable reality show faces Pratik Sehajpal, Umar Riaz (related to Bigg Boss 13 contestant Asim Riaz) and Nishant Bhatt.
TV actresses Shivangi Joshi, Erica Fernandes, Pavitra Punia and Arti Singh, choreographer Tushar Kalia, and model-turned-reality TV contestant Paras Chhabra will also be a part of the show.
The TOI report continues that the Khatron Ke Khiladi shoot will begin sometime in May in South Africa with Rohit Shetty returning as host.
Last year's edition of the game show was won by Arjun Bijlani in the final task which involved the contestants doing an underwater stunt.
Meanwhile, Munawar is currently on Lock Upp, which is hosted by Kangana Ranaut. In a recent episode, he recalled being arrested for allegedly hurting sentiments during one of his stand-up shows in Indore. He told fellow inmate Saisha Shinde that he intends to write a stand-up sketch on his experience one day. The show is available on ALTBalaji and MX Player.
