Byomkesh O Durgo Rahasya: Dev and his team wrap the second schedule of shooting in MP

Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay’s Durgo Rahasya has divided the Bengali film industry into two halves. While Srijit Mukherji is gearing up to begin the shoot of his web series, Dev’s camp has recently wrapped up the second schedule of shooting in MP. There will be a third schedule before the film goes to post-production. The film will release on August 11. 

Dev took to his social media to announce the culmination of the Madhya Pradesh. He posted two photos. In one, he is seen with his entire team, including director Birsa Dasgupta and Ambarish Bhattacharya who plays Ajit. The other one is his solo against the sunlight in which Dev is seen in Byomkesh's costume. Along with the photograph, he wrote, “And it's a wrap for Schedule No.2 of #ByomkeshODurgoRahashya at MADHYA PRADESH! Super Hot, Super Tough But Super Worth it! Get ready for some never seen visuals. Onto Schedule No.3! Wish us Luck!” 

Dev’s Byomkesh O Durgo Rohosyo has a stellar star cast with Rukmini Maitra as Satyabati and Ambarish as Ajit. Besides, Satyam Bhattacharya will be seen as Manilal and Debesh Chattopadhyay, in a pivotal character.

Bengali people have seen Uttam Kumar, Jisshu U Sengupta, Abir Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Sujay Ghosh, and Anirban Bhattacharya as Byomkesh. Sushant Singh Rajput played the detective in Hindi. Dev is the new addition. T It remains to be seen what surprises Dev can offer.

Dev will also play Jatindranath Mukhopadhyay, aka Bagha Jatin – the patriot, in the film Bagha Jatin, directed by Arun Roy. The film will be released during Durga Puja.
