Cannes 2022: Rocketry director and actor R Madhavan is all praise for Manish Malhotra, who styled his outfit

In R Madhavan's film career, Cannes 2022 acquires a special spot. On the global stage, the star is making his directorial debut with Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. His latest feature is set to have its international premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. The actor made a dramatic entry on the red carpet at Cannes 2022, looking very dashing in black. In a heartfelt remark, the actor praised Manish Malhotra for styling his outfit.

R Madhavan appeared taking pictures on the Cannes red carpet with Ricky Kej, Vani Tripathi, Prasoon Joshi, Anurag Thakur, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Shekhar Kapur, representing India at the global stage. He also took a picture of himself and shared on his social media handles. In an all-black suit, he looks dapper. Madhavan wears black sunglasses as well.

Sharing the picture on Instagram, Madhavan said that only the designer Manish Malhotra could have made it more special. On May 17, R Madhavan and his Rocketry: The Nambi Effect crew landed in Cannes. Madhavan is the writer, director, and producer of the film. The film will have its premiere at the international film festival on May 19 at the 75th Cannes Film Festival. It will not be a typical screener that the audience will see. The world premiere of Rocketry will be a major event for any Indian cinema, as per an IndiaToday article.

Rocketry, directed by Madhavan, is set to release in Hindi, English, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam at the same time. The film is produced by Tricolor Films and Varghese Moolan Pictures. Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya will reportedly make cameo appearances in the film too.
