Cannes Film Festival 2023: Anushka Sharma all set to make her grand debut at the prestigious event

Anushka Sharma will make her first appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. According to a reliable source, the actor will be present at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival's Women in Cinema tribute. Kate Winslet will be appearing with her.

At the French Embassy in New Delhi on Thursday, Anushka and her husband Virat Kohli met with the French ambassador, Emmanuel Lenin. The festival will take place in France, known as the global centre of fashion, and the ambassador hinted in the post's caption that he and the actor would be discussing her upcoming trip.

Lenin captioned the photo on his Twitter page, stating, "A pleasure meeting @imVkohli and @AnushkaSharma! I wished Virat and #TeamIndia all the best for the upcoming tournaments and discussed Anushka's trip to #CannesFilmFestival."

She enjoys worldwide fame and is considered a film legend in her own country, India. With three films (Sultan, PK, and Sanju) grossing over Rs. 300 crores, Anushka is also one of the most successful actors of her generation. She is the ultimate symbol of a dream come true in Indian cinema.

The dates for the 2023 edition of the Cannes Film Festival are May 16 through 27.

However, she will be appearing in her brother Karnesh Ssharma's film Chakda Xpress. Two more of her next major Bollywood films have already been announced.
