Brie Larson first appeared as Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers for the first time in the MCU movie Captain Marvel. The sequel to the movie titled The Marvels is in the works and the actor has now revealed her reaction to reading the movie’s script.
In an interview with Uproxx, Larson opened up about the movie, saying, “I could also say that, when I read the script for the first time, I couldn’t believe what I was reading. I was like, this is bonkers. And it’s the thing that I love about Marvel, is that they continue to reinvent.”
The actor also talked about working with the director Nia DaCosta, saying that it was an honour working with her and that she is an immense talent. Talking about the upcoming movie, she also said that Marvel continues to do the thing that you just would never think would be possible in these films and that they are not afraid to go there.

The movie will also see Captain Marvel join with Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau and Iman Vellani’s Ms Marvel/Kamala Khan. Rambeau is the daughter of Maria Rambeau, Danver’s best friend.
