Captain Miller: Arun Matheswaran pens emotional note for Shiva Rajkumar as latter bids goodbye

Shiva Rajkumar might be over 60 years old but is never short of energy or the will to try out something new. One such exciting new foray is his stint in Tamil cinema which sees him working with some of the biggest actors in the industry. If Nelson's Jailer has him as part of the principal cast led by superstar Rajinikanth, Arun Matheswaran's Captain Miller features Shiva Rajkumar in the role of Dhanush's older brother.

And according to the latest updates, Shivanna has completed his commitments as the big brother in the action entertainer. Having joined the sets back in March of 2023, Shiva Rajkumar has wrapped up his portions in the film and the makers shared a special note to convey the same. In fact, director Arun Matheswaran would pen an endearing note for the veteran actor, describing the experience of working with him as 'an absolute pleasure and a memory of a lifetime'. He would also share a couple of pictures from the sets, one of which features Shiva Rajkumar brandishing a gun along with the crew members. 

"We always had all smiles on our faces watching you perform, sir. We are awestruck by your aura and humility. An absolute pleasure and memory of a lifetime working with you. Wrap up for @NimmaShivanna," wrote Arun Matheswaran in his post.

Captain Miller is billed as a period action adventure that stars Dhanush in the titular role with Priyanka Arul Mohan, Sundeep Kishan, John Kokken, Edward Sonnenblick, Nivedhithaa Sathish, Nassar, Daniel Balaji and others, too, part of the cast. Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan have produced the film under Sathya Jyothi Films.
