Shiva Rajkumar recently shared in a media interaction that he has begun shooting for Nelson Dilip Kumar's Jailer, a mega film that also stars superstar Rajinikanth and many other noteworthy actors. Jailer marks Shivanna's Tamil debut and fans are excited as he is, if not more, about the opportunity. Many reports now suggest that his character in the Tamil film has a link to his Mufti character, Bhairathi Ranagal.

Jailer isn't the only Tamil film that the Century Star is part of. He will be seen playing a key role in Arun Matheswaran's Captain Miller, a film that stars Dhanush in the lead role. Shiva Rajkumar will be playing Dhanush's older brother in the film and we now hear that he has finally joined the sets to be part of an important 10-day schedule.

Does this mean that he has scored a lengthy part in the film in terms of screen time? In another media interaction, Shiva Rajkumar spoke about being Captain Miller and the fact that he plays Dhanush's on-screen brother, and in the same vein, added that he will be seen making a cameo appearance. However, considering that he is part of the production for 10 days, could we presume his role is more than just an ordinary cameo?

Captain Miller will feature Dhanush in a never-before-seen avatar and his recent appearance during the audio launch of Vaathi got many talking about his rugged look. He will be joined by Priyanka Mohan, Sandeep Kishan, Nivedithaa Sathish, John Kokken and others in the cast.

Shiva Rajkumar, in other developments, has been reportedly approached by the makers of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan. Although there is no formal announcement on the same, one would certainly hope to see the two stalwarts collaborating on this huge project. The 60-year-old Kannada superstar has Ghost, Karataka Dhamanaka and other films lined up for release this year.
