The team of Dhanush's Captain Miller recently paid its tribute to veteran stunt choreographer Judo K K Rathinam, who passed away recently. A picture of Dhanush playing floral tribute to the ace stuntman is doing the rounds on the internet. The picture was taken on the set of his upcoming film Captain Miller, which is directed by Arun Matheswaran. Sathya Jyothi Films, which is bankrolling the action entertainer, dropped the pictures of the tribute on its social media handle, and wrote, "Our last respects to the legendary Stunt Master #JudoRathinam from team #CaptainMiller #RIPJudoRathnam (sic)." Surrounding Dhanush are the stuntmen working in the film.

Judo Rathinam has worked in over 1,500 films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. The 92-year-old stunt choreographer was awarded the Kalaimamani award by the Tamil Nadu state government. Having extensively worked with Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, Rathinam was known for his work in films like Murattu Kaalai (1980), Kaali (1980) and Sakalakala Vallavan (1982).
Some of his other works include Kasethan Kadavulada, Netrikkann, Pokkiri Raja,Malaiyoor Mambattiyan, Uyirullavarai Usha, Mundhanai Mudichu, Thoongadhey Thambi Thoongadhey, Neengal Kettavai, Kai Kodukkum Kai, Nallavanukku Nallavan, Manithan, Shankar Guru, Guru Sishyan, Idhu Namma Aalu, Dharmathin Thalaivan, Raja Chinna Roja and Pandiyan to name a few. He has also acted in the films Thamarai Kulam, Pokkiri Raja and Thalainagaram.

The mortal remains of the ace stunt choreographer was brought to the South Indian Cine and TV Stunt Artists Union office in Chennai, according to his last wish. Rathinam had in his career, mentored many aspiring stuntmen. Many members of the Kollywood fraternity had attended the tribute event, which was held in Chennai.

In the meantime, the shoot for Captain Miller is going in full swing. The film stars Dhanush, Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, Priyanka Arul Mohan, John Kokken and Elango Kumaravel to name a few.
