Netflix is bringing glorious FIFA World Cup insights in the latest sports docuseries. The Captains of the World trailer, which dropped on Friday, is a treat to all the soccer fans. The streaming giant will be releasing its highly anticipated docuseries with archival footage from the sports arena to the locker room discussions in December.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup is returning to the thrills and adrenaline rush with Netflix’s upcoming docuseries. Amongst the most awaited docuseries is Captains of the World as it documents the star players along with a massive cheering crowd rooting for their favorite team players out of the 32 teams. From the joint minds of FIFA+ and Netflix – Captains of the World will be centered around the epic sports championship game of soccer. It will also include raw footage from the locker rooms to the soccer arena, where the star players face dilemma and pressure as they follow their dreams towards the glorious FIFA trophy.
In the 2:26-minute trailer, we witness behind-the-scenes of the giant sports event amidst fans cheering for their teams. The special 6-episodic project documents the journey of last year’s event during November and December. This docuseries is a follow-up of the previous sports docuseries, Captains, which was released in 2022 to showcase the determination and sincere efforts of the players on and off the field. Produced by Fulwell 73, Captains of the World also features exclusive interviews with soccer legends like Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappé, Gareth Bale, and Simon Kjær.
