After making her mark in one of the world’s most well known film franchises, The Matrix, Carrie-Anne Moss is eyeing another blockbuster franchise. The actress recently revealed that she wanted to be a part of the John Wick film series, which also features her The Matrix co-star Keanu Reeves.

In a conversation with People, Moss was asked which of Reeves' film characters were her favourite. The actress mentioned that she loved John Wick, recounting that she had first watched the film with her son. She heaped praise on Reeves, who plays the titular character, and lauded his storytelling abilities through physical movements.

Reeves, who also joined her in the interview, then asked Moss if she wanted to play an assassin in the next John Wick film, to which Moss vehemently agreed.

Reeves also had nothing but good things to say of Moss’ character in The Matrix, Trinity. The actor pointed to Moss’ ability to communicate even the most nuanced of feelings through her eyes, also talking about how she brought a certain strength to the character even in her vulnerable moments.

The Matrix Resurrections, the fourth instalment in the franchise, sees Reeves and Moss reprise their roles from the previous films, as Neo and Trinity still find themselves entrapped in the stimulation. The film also stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

The John Wick films follow the story of the titular assassin, who comes out of retirement in order to hunt down the man who killed his dog, a present from his late wife. The fourth instalment is slated to be released on March 24, 2023.
