Case Toh Banta Hai: Riteish Deshmukh dons a lawyer's coat for Amazon miniTV’s most-awaited comedy show

Amazon miniTV, the free video streaming service, has announced its first title today: Case Toh Banta Hai. Billed as a one-of-its-kind weekly comedy show, created by Banijay Asia, it would include some of the country 's biggest celebrities, including Riteish Deshmukh, Kusha Kapila, and Varun Sharma.

Case Toh Banta Hai, India's first comedy courtroom, has Riteish playing a junta ka lawyer, who comes up with some strange and entertaining claims against some of Bollywood's top stars, who'll be represented by their counsel Varun. The destiny of these celebrity guests will be judged by a honourable judge, portrayed by Kusha, whose decision will be definitive.

The guests, who will provide a fresh perspective, along with Riteish's trademark humour style, are expected to be highlights of the show.

Ritesh went on to express excitement for being part of the project, and said that the show will be a real treat for those who love comedy. He is also confident that the audience across the country would not stop laughing after watching some of the hilarious episodes. He said, “This is by far the “most-awaited case” of my life! Case Toh Banta Hai will launch solely on Amazon miniTV - on its shopping app and Fire TV - on July 29, with additional episodes released every Friday.
