CAT release date: When and where to watch Randeep Hooda’s espionage thriller on OTT

Randeep Hooda is gearing up to grace the silver screen yet again, this time in a fierce, badass and action packed avatar, in the upcoming espionage thriller, CAT. The series is all set to hit OTT soon.

What is CAT about?

CAT follows the story of Gurnam Singh, whose younger brother Sunny finds himself in trouble. Despite realising the depth of Sunny’s mistakes, Gurnam decides to protect his brother from harm and takes on the responsibility of becoming an undercover police informant to bust the bustling drug cartels of Punjab. His mission leads him to become entangled in a dangerous web of drug trafficking, politics and more.

Who are the cast and crew behind CAT?

Randeep stars as Gurnam Singh, while Danish Pratap Sood essays the role of the former’s younger brother Sunny. Besides Randeep and Danish, the series also features Suvinder Vicky, Hasleen Kaur, Geeta Aggarwal, Dakssh Ajit Singh, Sukhwinder Chahal, KP Singh, Kavya Thapar, and Pramod Pathal in prominent roles.

Balwinder Singh Janjua is the showrunner of the series, as well as a director, producer and writer on the show as well. He and Panchali Chakraverty have produced the show under the banners of Movie Tunnel Productions and Jelly Bean Entertainment. Balwinder has also penned the show’s screenplay, along with Rupinder Chahal, Jimmy Singh and Anil Rodhan. Rupinder and Jimmy have also directed episodes of the show.

What does Randeep Hooda have to say about CAT?

In an earlier statement, Randeep had promised fans that CAT would explore different facets of his career as an actor, which have hitherto never been explored before. The actor had also said that the show had a global appeal as well, largely due to its simple and intriguing script and story.
