Celebrity Cricket League 2023, or CCL, is in full swing with Day #4 of the tournament promising two exciting games. With the Sawai Mansingh Stadium of Jaipur turning host this time around, the eventful was kicked off by the Karnataka Bulldozers & Kerala Blasters game with Kiccha Sudeep, Golden Star Ganesh, Rajeev Pillai, Unni Mukundan and several other noted names to look out for.

The Bulldozers from Karnataka have already scored a win by defeating Bengal Tigers a couple of ago and are currently in the third position with a healthy net run rate of 1.461, only behind Telugu Warriors and Bhojpuri Dabanggs. A win was to ensure their firm hold on the tournament.

The Kerala Blasters, on the other hand, suffered a big defeat in their maiden game against Telugu Warriors and another loss would result in them slumping to the bottom of the points table. So, the Karnataka Bulldozers game was a mighty important one for their prospects.

However, things did not fare as intended for the Strikers as the Bulldozers' performance turned out to be too good to reckon with. Having won the toss, the Kerala Strikers managed to score 101 runs in their first slot of 10 overs at the loss of 5 wickets with Rajeev Pillai scoring a gritty 50 to pull them out of trouble. Karan Arryaan picked up 2 wickets for Bulldozers for 20 runs in his 2 overs.

In response, the Bulldozers mustered a highly credible 124 for 5 to secure a lead of 23 runs and have a clear edge on the opposition. Pradeep Bogadi proved his worth once again by scoring 59 from only 29 deliveries, with his opening partner Darling Krishna pitching in with a 20.

Kerala Strikers had a stiff challenge in front of them and Karnataka Bulldozers' solid bowling attack posed more problems to them. In their second innings, the Strikers could manage to put 105 runs on the board at the loss of 5 wickets. This meant that the Bulldozers needed only 83 runs in their 10 overs and considering how their batting has fared so far, the task wasn't to be all that difficult.

And just as expected, they chased down the target with an incredible amount of comfort. Karnataka Bulldozers sealed the contest within 7 overs and 8 wickets to spare. Kiccha Sudeep & co. joined the batters to celebrate the win with gusto.
