On day 4 of the 2024 Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), match 6 was between the Bhojpuri Dabanggs and the Chennai Rhinos, with the Manoj Tiwari-led side having a 3-0 advantage in head-to-head encounters. The Rhinos, though, changed that equation, with a resounding win over the Dabanggs. Today’s match between the Karnataka Bulldozers and the Bengal Tigers has an even more interesting statistic. The two teams have played each other 6 times since the Tigers joined CCL and every single time, the Bulldozers have won.

The Bulldozers and the Tigers have played group stage matches and semi-finals too against each other and the latter has always stumbled against Kiccha Sudeep’s boys. Can Jisshu Sengupta’s team turn this around? The Bengal Tigers and the Karnataka Bulldozers have each played one match only so far and registered wins. The Tigers beat the Kerala Strikers and the Bulldozers won against the Mumbai Heroes.

The Bulldozers, though, had a shaky start to their match, struggling in their first innings, which, they then rectified in the second, which they successfully defended as well. The question now is whether the Tigers can make the Bulldozers sweat, like how Punjab De Sher did last night against defending champions Telugu Warriors. So far, the Telugu Warriors are the only team to have chased a total for victory, so the toss is going to be crucial for both the Tigers and the Bulldozers.

The Karnataka Bulldozers vs Bengal Tigers encounter is match 8 of CCL 2024 and will begin at 2 pm (IST). You can catch all the action on JioCinema, Doordarshan, and Sony Ten 5. Doordarshan Bharathi has live links for each match on YouTube as well. The CCL official social media channels do not have live feeds or updates.

The second match for the day is between the defending champions Telugu Warriors, who have won both their group stage matches thus far and the Kerala Strikers, who are yet to register a win. This will be a do or die match for the Kerala Strikers if they still fancy a chance in the tournament.
