It’s time to see who will emerge the champion of the 12th season of the Celebrity Cricket League. On January 31, 2026, the top 4 teams – Bengal Tigers, Karnataka Bulldozers, Kerala Strikers and Vels Chennai Kings – converged in Coimbatore for the semi-finals. The Tigers, who won the league in 2024 and had an unbeaten record in their route to the semis, played the Strikers and almost didn’t make it. A fantastic knock by Rahul Mazumdar saw them chase down the total with 2 balls to spare.

Later, it was the turn of the Karnataka Bulldozers and the Chennai Kings, both teams having won the tournament twice each, but with the former with a better track record as far as getting to the final goes. Kings skipper Vikranth got them off to a fine start, but the team could not keep that momentum going. The Bulldozers got to the target, but the Kings sure made them sweat.

The Bengal Tigers vs Karnataka Bulldozers is a repeat of the 2024 finale. Back then, the Tigers had outplayed Kiccha Sudeep’s boys fair and square. This time around, the Bulldozers will want to remedy that. It’s been more than a decade since they last won the trophy. It would also be a befitting gift for the skipper, who’s celebrated 30 years in the film industry.

The CCL 2026 final will be held at the SNR College Cricket Ground in Coimbatore on February 1, 2026 at 6.30 pm. The match will stream live on JioHotstar, available via OTTplay Premium too. Interestingly, both the Tigers and the Bulldozers are the two teams that have remained undefeated in the tournament this year, with a clean group stage record too.

Going by the semi-finals on January 31, though, both teams may have a spot of bother, what with the both Jammy and Jisshu Sengupta injured for the Tigers, while the Bulldozers already have Pradeep out of action and Karan was also limping.
