Two days into Season 12 of the Celebrity Cricket League and there’s already been a definite result. Defending champions Punjab De Sher was knocked out of the tournament after two consecutive losses, while the Telugu Warriors, who lost one and then won another, will need to win their last group stage match for sure and maintain a good net run rate. Karnataka Bulldozers, Bhojpuri Dabanggs and Bengal Tigers have played 1 match each and won them, while the Mumbai Heroes lost their first game.
Schedule of CCL 2026 matches on January 18 in Vizag
Day 3 of CCL 2026 has the Bengal Tigers take on last year’s runners up, now rechristened Vels Chennai Kings, in the first match of the day at 2 pm. The Tigers had an unbeaten streak in the group stage last year and if their performance against the Mumbai Heroes on Day 2 is anything to go by, they will look at a repeat.
The second and last match of the first weekend of CCL2026 is between the Mumbai Heroes and the Kerala Strikers. The Strikers are back in the CCL fold, after missing Season 11 in the absence of team sponsors. They are now under new ownership and in the leadership of Marco star Unni Mukundan. This will be the Strikers’ first match of the season and will begin at 6.30 pm

The matches are being live streamed by JioHotstar (available via OTTplay Premium as well). Season 12 has one more weekend of cricket matches in Coimbatore, before heading to Hyderabad for the semi-finals and the final. The Coimbatore week decides the top 4 teams that will proceed to the semis. The tournament will end on February 1, 2026.
