Celebrity MasterChef: Tejasswi Prakash reveals why she joined cooking reality show; 'I am obsessed with...'

Celebrity MasterChef is one of the most popular cooking reality shows currently. The show is hosted by Farah Khan along with two famous chefs Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar. Tejasswi Prakash who is currently seen in the cooking-based reality show, shared a vlog titled 'Inside Celebrity MasterChef! A Day with Tejasswi Prakash.' In the vlog, she revealed why she joined it.

In the vlog, Tejasswi Prakash revealed why she joined Celebrity MasterChef. She said, "I am so excited because I am obsessed with cooking. I love food. I love everything food. Which is why, I joined this show. I have got a burn mark. It is still looking bad. The skin pulls when I try to hold something in the kitchen. It is now dry, so the pain has relatively reduced. It was unbearable initially."

For the unversed, in December 2024, Tejasswi burnt her hand while shooting the cooking reality show. Sharing a selfie on Instagram, she wrote, "The show must go on."

Celebrity MasterChef contestants

Celebrity MasterChef has onboarded known faces from Television. The list of participants includes Gaurav Khanna, Tejasswi Prakash, Dipika Kakar, Rajiv Adatia, Nikki Tamboli, Archana Gautam, Faisal Shaikh (Mr Faisu), Usha Nadkarni, Kabita Singh, Chandan Prabhakar and Abhijeet Sawant.

Farah Khan on hosting Celebrity MasterChef

In an official statement, Farah Khan expressed her excitement about hosting Celebrity MasterChef. She said that she loved the format of the show and also expressed her gratefulness for being friends with the fabulous Chef Judges, the talented Ranveer Brar, and Vikas Khanna. 

"I was part of the MasterChef family when it first came to India, and I’m well acquainted with most of the incredible celebrity lineup that we have this season, so it's going to be a wild ride," she said.

Meanwhile, the culinary show, Celebrity MasterChef airs on Sony TV and SonyLIV from Monday to Friday at 8 pm. You can also watch it with your OTTplay Premium subscription.
