Censor trouble for HIT 3, Nani upset over multiple cuts, refuses to dilute intensity

HIT 3 is Nani's new film that is all set to hit the screens on May 1, 2025. The trailer of the film will be out tomorrow, and Nani is super thrilled with the output. He says that the film will shock one and all, especially with his raw and intense cop character. But the Jersey actor is also a tense man, as the censor board has denied giving him a clearance certificate.

Going into details, the censor screening of HIT 3 happened a few days ago in Hyderabad. After seeing the final cut, the officials revealed that they would give the film a clear A certificate. Nani and his team had discussions with the officials. One of the sources close to the film has revealed to us that the officials asked the makers to cut several scenes related to violence and curse words, and then they would pass the film with a U/A certificate.

But Nani and director Sailesh are in no mood to have cuts in the film, as they feel it would dilute the effect on the audience. HIT 3 is a murder mystery, and there is a lot of violence designed, which was showcased in the promos. Nani has a very good image with the family audience. His new production, Court – State vs. A Nobody, is out on OTT and is a rustic family drama with a solid backdrop.

At such a time, Nani is coming up with an intense avatar, and the film is high on curse words and gore. That is the reason HIT 3 is facing several censor issues. Sailesh Kolanu has directed the film, which Nani is producing under his home banner. He has spent close to Rs 60 crore and will be seen as Arjun Sarkaar in the film.

The main aspect of HIT 3 is the violence, and Nani does not want any of the key scenes to be cut. The Kirshnarjuna Yuddham actor is now re-editing the film and deleting a few gore scenes, as per the news. Srinidhi Shetty plays the female lead in this film, and it is her character that brings all the twists in the days to come.
