Anushka Sharma finished the shooting of Chakda Xpress in Kolkata a few days back. During her stay, she explored different corners of the city and its famous street foods. The actress made social media posts of her Kolkata exploration. The film – a biopic of the former-Indian captain Jhulan Goswami – is in full swing. The shooting took place under strict security. However, the name of the actor playing Anushka's coach is revealed. Bollywood actor Dibyendu Bhattacharya of Jamtara fame is playing the role. Dibyendu is of Bengali origin.
Dibyendu is elated about his role. He told the media, “This film portrays the unknown struggle of one of the best female sportspersons of India. I hope the audience will like the film.” Dibyendu hails from Kolkata. How was the experience of shooting in his own city? Dibyendu said, “This was different fun. We did the shooting with the atmosphere of Durga Puja. That is the best time of the year in Kolkata.” He also said that Anushka is a powerful actress.
Anushka and Virat’s daughter Vamika was with her mother during the shooting. The actress arranged a special party for the unit at his hotel to celebrate Diwali. After returning to Mumbai, she posted a number of pictures of her Kolkata trip. The pictures contained her trip to Belur Math, Kalighat, and photos of different city foods. Meanwhile, Dibyendu will also be seen in Ankush’s action magnum opus, Mirza. In the film, he will be seen as the villain. Ankush made the announcement recently in a press conference.
