Challengers’ trailer is OUT: Zendaya gets caught in a love triangle on-and-off a tennis court

Zendaya is one of the most loved celebrities in Hollywood. After making her debut in the 2017 superhero film, Spider-Man: Homecoming; she knew there is no turning back in her career. Over the years, she positioned herself in the industry with sheer hard work and dedication and now enjoys a fan following of over 182 million Instagram users. Not only this, but she also has a fanbase of over 20 million Twitter users.

On Tuesday evening, the 26-year-old starlet surprised her fans and well-wishers by informing them that she will soon be seen in the romantic adventure, Challengers – a film which stars West Side Story's Mike Faist and The Crown's Josh O'Connor, with Call Me By Your Name director Luca Guadagnino at the helm.

This film is slated to hit the theatres on September 15. However, it is not known whether this film will be released in India or not.

With this announcement, Zendaya also attached a trailer of Challengers in the post. In the trailer, we see Zendaya in character as Tashi Donaldson who believes that she is a passionate tennis player. Her life, however, turns upside down, when she gets caught in a love triangle on-and-off a tennis court. Zendaya soon enters a relationship with two up-and-coming male players: Art (Faist) and Patrick (O'Connor). Will Tashi be able to keep herself mentally stable and become a tennis prodigy? The mystery will be revealed soon.

Zendaya and her India connect

In the month of April this year, Zendaya alongwith her Spider-Man: No Way Home costar Tom Holland visited India for the first time. The duo was present in the country to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre. Celebrities like Gigi Hadid, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Nick Jonas, and several other Hollywood stars were also present at the star-studded affair.
