Champion OTT release date: When, where to stream Roshan Meka, Anaswara Rajan's period drama

Roshan Meka, the star son of Srikanth, made his Telugu debut with the film Pelli SandaD, which was a decent hit. The film had Sreeleela as the female lead, and her career took off in a big way. However, Roshan had to wait four long years to release his second film, Champion. Backed by the makers of Sita Ramam, Mahanati, and Kalki 2898 AD, Champion was released on December 25, 2025, and ended up as a flop.

We at OTTplay have already revealed that Netflix has bagged the digital rights to the film for a fancy price. The latest update is that Champion will be available for streaming from January 23, 2026. This means the period drama will arrive on OTT within a month of its theatrical release.

Pradeep Advaitam directed the film, which was made on a budget of ₹40 crore. A significant portion of the budget was recovered through the digital rights, but since the film flopped at the box office, it is making an early debut on Netflix.
