Aamir Khan is making his grand Bollywood comeback in less than a month and he is taking all precautions to make sure that his movie receives love from the viewers. One such move is Champions being out of OTT till Sitaare Zameen Par releases. It is to be noted that Sitaare Zameen Par is adapted from the Spanish film Campeones, which Hollywood adapted as Champions. Here's everything we know so far...

Champions out of OTT

Champions, starring Woody Harrelson in the lead role, is out of JioHotstar. The movie is not streaming on the platform anymore, to make way for Sitaare Zameen Par's smooth release. Since Sitaare Zameen Par is an adaptation of the film, the makers have made sure that Champions would not stream till Sitaare Zameen Par releases.

Sitaare Zameen Par's release module

Sitaare Zameen Par has adapted a unique release method. Aamir Khan's grand Bollywood comeback will neither be in theatres nor on OTT. The movie would be out on YouTube on rent. This is the first time a Bollywood actor has adapted their module for their film's release and thus, even if it's a huge risk, there's also more control in terms of numbers. The purchase would bring in the business while the views are anyway out for the world to see.

The concept of Sitaare Zameen Par

Sitaare Zameen Par deals with a misfit basketball coach who has been tasked with training specially-abled individuals. They all have their own ways of living their life and most of the time, it takes the coach by surprise. The movie explores how love from his wife and mother helps the coach stay patient with the students and give them the space to shine on their own. Sitaare Zameen Par promises to bring the magic alive on June 20.
