The first song from Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is out, and it's the title track. The peppy Punjabi number features the lead stars, Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor, along with the supporting cast from the film. For the uninitiated, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is a song originally sung by Jassi Sidhu. Bally Jagpal, Bhota Jagpal, and Madan Jalandhari have composed the song.

In the music video, both Ayushmann and Vaani show their "Punjabi-ness" and fit bods along with their dancing skills. They make for a sexy and cool couple while shaking their legs together and flaunting their sizzling chemistry. In the film, Ayushmann plays the role of a gym instructor, while Vaani will be seen as a zumba instructor.

The recreated song is sung by Sachin-Jigar Feat. Jassi Sidhu and IP Singh.

Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui marks the first outing of Ayushmann and Vaani, not only with each other but also with the director, Abhishek Kapoor.

The film has Abhishek Bajaj, Kanwaljit Singh, Gourav Sharma, Gautam Sharma, Yograj Singh, Aanjjan Srivastav, Karishma Singh, Girish Dhamija, Tanya Abrol, and Sawan Rupowali in supporting roles.

Earlier, in a statement, Ayushmann had opened up about the reopening of theatres and his film being among the early releases. The actor said that as an industry, they must provide people with an experience that they will remember, one that will engage them in conversation, and, most importantly, one that will fully entertain them. Ayushmann is optimistic that they will be able to accomplish this and turn movie watching into a social event once more.

The actor went on to say that we live in a country where going to the movies with our families and friends is cherished.

Calling it a viewing appointment, Ayushmann shared that it's a moment of celebration for families and that it'll be back in a major manner. He said that it only takes the perfect kind of film to do this, and he hopes that his films help to reintroduce audiences to the sacred halls of cinema.

Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is set to hit the big screens on December 10, 2021.
