Charlie Cox has once again confirmed his desire to reprise his blind superhero role Daredevil, which is now a Disney-Marvel property.

However, the actor believes that the scope of the story and role will be limited but not impossible to accomplish, as Disney usually makes family-friendly content. Indiewire notes that while Disney is slowly introducing more edgy stuff like Oscar Isaac's Moon Knight, finding Daredevil as a place in the same roster is a little hard for fans to envision.

"It absolutely can work, but I guess what you can't deny is Daredevil is never going to work as well in a PG world as Spider-Man does. Do you know what I mean? That's the point. I think that the age of the character, the Christian guilt, his history with women and stuff, it's like it's a little bit more mature, it has to be," Cox told Comicbook.com.

Cox said that he "wouldn't underestimate" Disney-Marvel to find a way that recreates Daredevil in a way that aligns with what the storyline has done so far.

Daredevil made his official entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a brief appearance in the recent Spider-Man: No Way Home, which also saw the return of other comic book characters like Doc Ock and the Green Goblin.

Cox first played the role in the titular series, which was made available on Netflix. It has now left the streaming platform along with other Marvel shows like Jessica Jones and Luke Cage.
