Chatha Pacha: Marco actor Ishan Shoukath is lethal as ‘Little’ | First look out

The upcoming Malayalam film, Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies, has been adding to the hype with poster reveals of the lead characters over the past few days. The latest poster to be revealed is that of actor Ishan Shoukath, best known as Victor from Unni Mukundan’s hit film Marco. Chatha Pacha is slated to hit theatres on January 22, 2026.

What does the poster of Chatha Pacha show

The makers of Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies introduced the character of Ishan Shoukath as Little. While sharing the first-look poster, fellow actor Roshan Mathew wrote on Instagram - ‘Little by name, Lethal by nature.’ Ishan Shoukath looked all pumped as he celebrated in the boxing ring in the vibrant poster. Is Mammootty making a cameo in Chatha Pacha?

Malayalam megastar Mammootty is said to be making a cameo in the upcoming film, which is inspired by WWE wrestling and will revolve around an underground club in Kochi. Mammootty, who was last seen as a serial killer in the film Kalamkaval, is likely to make a short appearance as the wrestling coach in Chatha Pacha.

Directed by debutante Adhvaith Nayar, the upcoming film features actors Arjun Ashokan, Ithiri Neram actor Roshan Mathew, Ishan Shoukath and Vishak Nair in the lead roles. Senior actor Siddique is also part of the film, along with influencer-actress Lakshmi Menon.

Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy would be composing the songs of the film, marking their debut in Malayalam cinema.

Which are the Malayalam films releasing in January 2026

Apart from Chatha Pacha making its worldwide release on January 22, 2026, several other Malayalam films will also hit theatres this month. The first film to hit theatres this year is Nikhila Vimal’s Pennu Case on January 16, 2026. Director Nadirshah's film Magic Mushrooms will be out on January 23. Another major film Valathu Vashathe Kallan, helmed by Jeethu Joseph, will release on January 30. Bhavana's Anomie is also slated to hit theatres this month.
