The Malayalam film Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies, inspired by WWE wrestling, is set for a wider release. The makers have announced that Chatha Pacha will release in Telugu and Tamil on January 30, 2026. The film, revolving around a fight club in Kochi, stars actors Arjun Ashokan, Roshan Mathew, Vishak Nair and Ishaan Shoukath.

Chatha Pacha, which released in theatres on January 22, is helmed by debutante Adhvaith Nayar. The big-budget film is now set to enter the theatres in Tamil Nadu and Telugu states in their native languages on January 30, a week after its first release in Malayalam, the makers have announced. Notably, Chatha Pacha is released in Telugu by Mythri Movie Makers, who have backed hit films such as Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 1 and 2. Chatha Pacha was already screening in Malayalam in these states.

The Adhvaith Nayar film made only Rs 0.71 crore on Tuesday in Malayalam net box office collection, as per trade tracker Sacnilk. The total worldwide Chatha Pacha box office collection is Rs 27 crore, with India gross at Rs 14.2 crore, and overseas at Rs 12.8 crore.
The action-packed entertainer won appreciation for its well-choreographed fight sequences and the lead cast’s performances. However, Chatha Pacha was panned for the much-hyped star cameo of Mammootty, who later claimed that he just performed as he was directed by the makers.
Actors Carmen S. Mathew, Dartaganan Sabu, Vyshnav Biju, and Syamaprakash MS are also part of the movie, along with Vedhika Sreekumar, Lakshmi Menon, Rafi and Siddique.
