Disney's latest animated film, Wish has finally released in theatres on November 24, and it's been reported that it will be the first film to run in theatres only, and will not have any OTT release. However, according to Variety, Wish has failed to meet the expectations, falling short of its projected box office opening.
Wish's box office collection till now
Opening with $7.9 million, the film's domestic tally reached $20.2 million, although this is a significant improvement compared with Disney’s last year's release, Stranger World, which had collected $18.8 million. Bearing a hefty $200 million production budget, Wish also serves as a nostalgic tribute to Disney's rich legacy, peppered with Easter eggs and references to the studio's extensive history of animated films.
Wish's new posters
Today Disney has dropped a list of five musical posters of Wish, where the whole voice artists – Ariana DeBose, Chris Pine, Alan Tudyk, Evan Peters, Angelique Cabrel, Victor Garber, Harvey Gullién, Natasha Rothwell, Jon Rudnitsky, Della Saba, and Ramy Youssef’s animated characters are revealed with amazing features.
Disney also revealed that these amazingly beautiful posters were created by Bella Grace, a UK based graphic designer and alternative movie poster illustrator who studied Digital Film & Screen Arts at University.
