Chengiz: Dev congratulates Jeet and his team

Jeet is all set to release his upcoming bilingual film, Chengiz during Eid. Directed by Rajesh Ganguly, the film will be released in both Hindi and Bengali. The actor made the release date announcement on social media on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Dev took no time to congratulate his colleague on his social media for the upcoming film. 

Dev retweeted Jeet’s announcement post on his handle and wrote, “This is superb news..my best wishes to the entire cast n crew. Joy hog Bangla Cinemar (Long live Bengali cinema). 

On Tuesday, trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his social media and posted on the release of this first bilingual Bengali production. The film is produced by Jeetz Filmworks and AA Films. The film will delve into the dark underworld aggression in Kolkata between 1970 and 1990. Directed by Rajesh Ganguly, the film will also feature Susmita Chatterjee, Rohit Bose Roy, Shataf Figar, and others.

After Dev’s post, fans of these two superstars shared a lot of love in the comment section. One fan mentioned Raj Chakrabarty’s Dui Prithibi in which both Dev and Jeet are seen as the lead characters. The fan demanded some more films featuring both stars. Some of Dev’s fans suggested he ditches the current family dramas that he has been working on and asked him to make action-packed films as Jeet does. 

Dev is in Odisha shooting Bagha Jatin. Directed by Arun Roy, the film is a biopic of the freedom fighter.
