Yes, you read that right! Chhaava is also highly anticipated for its music, composed by none other than the maestro AR Rahman. This marks the second collaboration between filmmaker Laxman Utekar and Rahman after their successful film Mimi. The song, Jaane Tu, is sung by Arijit Singh, composed by ARR, and penned by the renowned Irshad Kamil. Rahman and Kamil have previously delivered some of Bollywood’s biggest albums, including Rockstar, Raanjhanaa, Amar Singh Chamkila, Tamasha, and more.
The makers shared a teaser of Jaane Tu, announcing its release tomorrow, January 31. The teaser features Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai welcoming Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Announcing the song’s release, the makers wrote:

For those unaware, Chhaava is directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Pictures. Set on a grand scale, the movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale, Divya Dutta as Sambhaji Maharaj’s stepmother Soyarabai, and Akshaye Khanna as Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
